This bat mitzvah party last weekend was all about purple and orange. The honoree was one of the most adorable girls I have had the pleasure to work with and she and her mother adore all things purple.

A magical evening unfolded this past Saturday for a rooftop wedding at New York’s famed Metropolitan Club. An intimate group of 80 enjoyed cocktails in the bar and were surprised when the brief-but-touching ceremony erupted right before them.

Now that Spring is springing, the cold and dark of February seems a long way off. While all-white lofts can feel frigid in winter, this unusual loft space provided a cozy backdrop with its vaulted brick ceilings, hardwood floors, overhead iron girders, and heavy taupe draperies.
